The OBSC thanks the more than 15,000 advocates from across the West who stepped up to support Eastern Oregon in opposing a national monument without a vote of Congress.

Moving forward, based on the feedback from the community, the OBSC has a clear direction: Sustain a healthy working landscape in Malheur County.

The OBSC continues to work toward a land use plan that preserves this unique working landscape, the culture and tradition of ranching and multiple-use on federal land in the county and provides economic stability of knowing resource use will continue into the future.
