The working plan for our working land
DESIGNING A HEALTHY WORKING LANDSCAPE WHILE PRESERVING THE
LANDS, COMMUNITIES AND CULTURE IN MALHEUR COUNTY
The Owyhee Basin Stewardship Coalition (the “OBSC”) has taken the initiative to develop a plan for the improvement and protection of the Federal Public Lands in Malheur County and to help drive the conversation for what the future management will look like. This in turn will guarantee the existence of our communities and cultural industries.
The OBSC is the voice of those who live, work, and recreate in the area. They are families, business owners, outdoor enthusiasts, ranchers, and public servants. Members have a vested interest in developing a plan that will protect the lands and provide certainty for future generations.
